Established over 30 years ago (with only two owners over that period), Springfield Care Home is a residential care home for the elderly located in an attractive period house, complemented by a ground floor extension with views of our extensive landscaped gardens.
We are highly commended in the Gardens in Bloom Competition. We're within walking distance of the centre of March, an attractive market town in Cambridgeshire. Our nearest major towns are Wisbech, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Cambridge and Ely.
Our care home accommodates up to 29 residents in bright, clean and comfortable single or shared rooms, all equipped with a call system and washing facilities. We suggest that residents personalise their rooms by bringing suitable items of furniture, photographs and other possessions of sentimental value.
We have iPads and laptops for residents to use and communicate with their families as required.

Many of our residents live at Springfield Care Home on a permanent basis, enjoying long-term support and a comfortable environment tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
We welcome guests for shorter respite stays, maybe to take a break from their own home or to recuperate following a period of poor health. We are also happy to accept emergency respite care at very short notice.
We provide daycare services, offering individuals the opportunity to spend the day with us in a supportive and friendly environment. Guests can enjoy nutritious meals, participate in engaging activities, and socialise with our residents and staff, making it a perfect option for those seeking companionship and a change of routine.
We welcome visitors at any time. The home benefits from three common areas including a quiet area where residents can receive visitors in a private setting, if desired.
A qualified hair stylist visits Springfield Care Home weekly. We also arrange chiropody and other specialised therapies tailored to the needs and preferences of our residents, helping them maintain their health and well-being.
We understand that coming to a care home is a significant step and we encourage residents to come for a trial period to see how they find us.
